Weekly Events
The De Colores Program provides families with children ages 0 – 5 with an interactive, accessible, inclusive, and equitable puppet show, music, movement, and art project program to motivate and strengthen the connections of parents with their children. The program prioritizes early childhood development activities.
Every first, second and third Friday from 6PM to 8PM, for a total of 21 sessions, the dA Center for the Arts invites PUSD families (with students from preK to 12th grade) into our space for Family Friday Art Night to explore and create through the various art discovery zones/stations run by our art leaders. At no cost, families come and are able to navigate the activities at their own pace and selection, not to mention that they also enjoy the provided pizza, DJ entertainment, and The dA bucks store where students redeem their saved up dA bucks and even receive more for simply attending FFAN. As for parents, Family Friday Art Nights allows them to interface with The dA staff who make up the programs that their students take part in, along with allowing them to explore new mediums and art forms alongside their children.
